With a huge range of cat, dog and horse insurance policies on the market, it can be hard to pick the policy and provider that best fits your needs and budget.

We ask pet and horse owners who are customers of the UK’s leading insurance providers to share their experiences and help other owners like you, choose the best pet or horse insurance policy type and provider.

Please read some of the thousands of pet insurance reviews from other owners and leave your own review if you are a customer, too. All the inside information on the service and support the insurance companies provide, and how easy or complex they make it to submit and get a claim paid, helps others make an informed choice. Your views can also encourage our insurance companies to offer the best possible service they can.

Once you’ve narrowed down your options click through our site links on your chosen insurer's page to get a quote and help us to help pets and equines in need through our charity donations

We need your review!

We want to give pet and horse owners lots of real customer reviews to read when deciding on the right policy for them and their animals so we need new reviews from you!

My dog just tore his cruciate ligament, something the vets tell me is incredibly common. I've been paying for their top tier cover (upt to £6K in vet fees) for years and this would have been the first big claim - only to find they have a sneaky clause...

Only giving a rating of '1' as a minus score is not available. This is a truly disgusting company that is only interested in your money. Highest premiums, highest excess, ratchet up premiums despite no claims. They go out of their way to avoid settling...

Appalled by misinterpreted clinical details leading to only partial claims settlement. Don’t bother complaining - they are not regulated by FOS in the UK! They mislead you to believe that they are by sending a leaflet how to make a complaint, so you go...

It's about time vet's charges were put before some sort of parliamentary enquiry. Not all bad but an awful lot involving emotional blackmail and extortion.

Our premium has bumped up a bit with our 12 year old neutered moggy but having done an online comparison the price was pretty much inline with other companies. We've got everything covered and a £125 excess. Poor puss has since been poorly, off his food...
