Agria administers its own award winning pet insurance products and offer Lifetime Pet Health Insurance cover for vet fees of either £12,500 per year or £6,500 per year while the policy is active. Policies also cover third party liability, advertising costs if your pet is lost and a contribution to your travel or accommodation costs if your pet is referred to another vet for treatment.

Agria will pay your vet direct if your vet agrees. You can add Overseas Travel Cover, Death and Loss Cover, Boarding Fees Cover and Breeding Risks Cover for an extra charge. 97% claims are paid. Direct to your vet if you prefer.

Coverage

Agria offer Lifetime Pet Health Insurance for dogs and cats and you can choose between either £6,500 or £12,500 of total cover for vet fees annually. The plan covers any conditions or accidents up to the annual limit each year for as long as the policy is renewed. They pay vets directly and cremation and burial costs are covered.There policies include Dental cover for illness and injury, Breeding cover and there are no restrictions on the vets you can use. Their policies provide continuous lifetime cover and there are various excess combinations to choose from. Agria provide a £25 vet care voucher when you buy our policy and there are no limits on the number of conditions you can claim for within a year.

Excess

Choice of £95, £160 per condition each year for dogs and a choice of £85 or £160 excess for cats. You pay 10% of vet costs once the excess is deducted.

Age Limits

From 8 weeks. Max age limit depends on species and breed.

Waiting Period

Illness - 10 days when you first buy your policy.

Both on the telephone when I first rang, to their promptness in responding and dealing with the claim was excellent. We were very worried for our cat, as a family member, she is much loved and we appreciated the professional way Agria kept us informed...

If you are willing to cover a percentage of any claim, the cost of the insurance is reasonable.
I've had one claim in almost 2 years of cover and this was dealt with quickly.
I have a rescue dog with behavioural problems, other insurers would not cover...
