Vetsure offer award winning pet insurance options with the ability to tailor the cover to suit your pets and budget. Founded by a vet, Vetsure strives to provide simple to understand pet insurance options so their customers can make informed choices.

All policies are 'lifelong' or lifetime cover policies offering cover per condition, per pet with annually recharging benefits. An Accident Only policy is available, plus two Accident and Illness policies with the choice of £5,000 or £2,000 of vet fee cover per year. You can tailor your policy to suit your needs increasing cover by £1,000 - £2,000 per year. 

You can select an Excess amount to suit your budget and choose to add up to three optional covers depending on on your needs. With a growing network of accredited vets and consultants you are encouraged to use their in-network vets to keep your costs down and be assured of a quality service, but you are free to use any vet. You can also nominate your vet to join the network.

Coverage

Vetsure offers three Lifelong Cover polices. You can choose between an Accident only policy offering £2,000 cover per Accident or Injury each policy year or two Accident and Illness policy options offering either £2,000 or £5,000 vet fee cover per condition, per policy year. Their policies provide some cover for Complementary Medicine, Death of Pet and Transportation Costs as standard, with the Accident and Illness policies also providing cover for loss or straying as standard with cost of advertising and reward included. Their Accident only policy does not cover conditions with an underlying medical cause such as cruciate ligament rupture or patella luxation. Optional additional benefits are available for an additional cost: 1) Preventative Care Vouchers; 2) Additional Benefits Cover package:Emergency Boarding, Holiday Cancellation, Accidental Damage, Personal Accident, Dog Walker and Overseas Travel cover; 3) Public Liability (for dogs only)

Excess

£69, £109 or £149 options plus £20 extra if if customer chooses to have pet treated at a vet outside the Vetsure network. For Accident and Illness policies you also pay a 15% co-payment on all costs over and above the excess for pets over 8 years of age.

Age Limits

8 weeks to less than 10 years at the start of cover.

Waiting Period

N/A on Accident only, 14 days on Accident and Illness policies.
