My 12 yr old dog was very ill. Contacted Waggel vet online who tried to diagnose and then told me to take her to my vet which I did. They sent her straight to emergency vet for surgery. She is recovering well, however it cost me nearly £4000. I put in a claims form immediately at start of Feb. My vet,( a very large practise in the Shropshire area) had a full run down of the bill and the claim was fully legitimate. I still have not received any payment despite nagging, begging, (badly need the money) and eventually being rude. Only thing that has made them respond quicker was threatening to write reviews/ put negative comments on Facebook. Still no money in my account, so here is my review. They say they have been busy. I'm sorry, that's no excuse and no help when the going gets tough. I've kept my side of the bargain. Paying their fees regularly and on time. They need to keep their side now and stop prevaricating and pay up. After all, how tricky is it. Check claim's legit, check policy to see how much they need to pay, knock off the excess and send the balance by direct transfer to the account details that they already have. Not exactly rocket science. Not even a 10 minute job
