Rip off

Paid nearly £1200 for last years premium. Dog was covered for up to £15000 a year lifetime cover. Dog had a lump which vet wasnt sure off. Had op turned out to be fat and was charged nearly £2500. Insurer wouldnt pay xrays ,wouldnt pay blood tests etc. Ended up getting paid £1500. This years premium came in and was up by £1300 making it £2500. How is this " insurance" when all you are doing is reimbursing the insurance company. AA pet insurance is not the company my insurance was with , but its part of a blanket insurance group called IFL ,which are extremely difficult to contact. When you take your pet to your friendly local vet, what you dont know is that most of them have sold out to these corporations, and its now just a stitch up between vets and insurance. Forget insurance companies, save up for your pet and end this greedy collusion between vets and corporations.
