Our beloved Myrtle became ill. We visited the vets twice and on the third visit decided that letting her go would be the kindest thing. The total bill for the consultations and cremation was for over £800. The settlement figure was just over £6. ! Even the medication wasn't covered in full as they claim the vets overcharged us. We have been with Emporium and More Than for previous pets and we had none of this nonsense. After paying premiums for 3 years without a claim, it's an insult. We could have got medication cheaper online but it would have meant a delay to her treatment. Steer clear of this company and if you are already with them, check your cover as they are by far inferior to other insurers.
