I should have know this would be a struggle when advised by the vet that they wouldn't deal with Admiral. Firstly the vets had to send the documents twice and I only knew that Admiral hadn't received the documents when I chased. I followed up once the documents had been sent for the 2nd time and was told it would take 10 to 15 days to review the claim. I chased again 4 weeks later only to be told nothing had been done with it, the person on the phone said she would chase it up and try and get it paid that day. 4 days later and nothing so I called again only to be told that it had only just been sent for review strangely enough on the day that I called previously. I am now told it will now take perhaps another week to review and then a further week for this to be paid. Which I unfortunately I don't believe. You take insurance so you do not have to pay for costly vet bills unfortunately if you use Admiral you do have to pay it and then wait months to be paid out.
