Our vet recommended a MRI scan for our Boston terrier, so after talking to Tesco insurance they said our policy would cover the cost .
We followed all the correct procedures only to be told we was under investigation for fraud . After a complex interview system where I was treated like a criminal and so was my wife who also had to do an interview by the same person “ Claire Price “ we was turned down for our claim . The whole process took over 3 months to come to a conclusion, hardly no contact and no communication to let me know what was going on unless I either emailed or phoned them.
We was eventually turned down but I still haven’t had any proof of so called fraudulent claim . I put in a complaint which was partly upheld on the way we was treated but not for how long it took or the lack of communication. I am still waiting for the evidence to be made available for me before I take my next steps . Tesco pet insurance is a complete joke avoid at all costs. Unfortunately for us now after all the delay our pet has now got a terminal condition which possibly could have been sorted if I wasn’t treated like a criminal .
