No online access to account, impossible to cancel auto renew


I noticed my pet insurance was set to auto renew and wanted to change that since my insurance had doubled since last year. I couldn't log in anywhere online, my details weren't recognised. When I finally got through on the phone I was told that there is no online access for their pet insurance. I was also told that there is no way to turn off the auto renew as "it is built into the policy". It seems the only way to stop the next payment is to cancel the policy just before the renewal date. I had contacted them after the payment had been made but the person on the phone was actually very helpful and cancelled the policy in full as it was less than 14 days since the cover started. Very stressful though and I shan't be using them again.
