My petplan policy only covers a condition in the year that it is raised and then removes cover in future years. This means you end up paying for insurance but petplan does not really take much risk. Most of the risk stays with the pet owner. It’s my fault for not checking the fine print and paying petplan premiums for many years, naively thinking that they would provide protection for any condition that arises for the duration of that condition. Check your policy so you don’t end up in this position.I think it’s a bad deal for policyholders.
