Last year my cat was diagnosed with diabetes and the treatment from the local vet created major claims initially as the cat did not react well to the insulin and this created issues which the vet thought was not related and then a hypo when the cat was in the hospital at some time. More Than paid out on these claims but for the hospital treatment took about nearly three months in doing so. Renewal has come. Last year the increase in cost was bearable but this year they have doubled the cost to an eye watering £1,300. This to my mind is disgusting but one like any medical policy are trapped. If considering again they would not be on my list nor would I use them for anything else.
