I was attracted to Admiral Pet Insurance as the premiums seemed reasonable for a 9 year old dog with no previous medical history and at that age no co-payment was required just a hefty (I thought at the time) £199 excess. My problems started when Molly fell ill and my normal vet after an initial consultation were closed so we had to use an out of hours support vet. It seems that the claim process when two vets are involved really confuses Admiral and as a result over a month after she passed away I still have no reimbursement of the vets fees I've paid.
