9 months into an annual lifetime policy with Sainsburys, I have recently submitted a claim for my healthy miniature schnauzer after a nasty episode of gastritis. The underwriters have reviewed the claim and placed exclusions on the policy for every veterinary visit in my dogs medical history. None of which relate to the recent claim, none of which have required any ongoing treatment or a previous claim but all have been deemed "pre existing conditions ". Please be very aware that pre existing conditions with this policy means any recorded veterinary visit and exclusions are being applied at the point of claims and not when the policy is purchased. Very misleading mis-sold policy that is not worth purchasing and will just rob you of the monthly premium payment.
