Our greyhound went unsupervised whilst I was recovering from a slip on the ice recently. She had seen/smelt a tasty pile of food. From prior experience I was pretty certain it was a rodenticide - warfarin. I phoned our vet promptly and within the hour she had an emetic, followed by carbon syrup over 24 hours and then blood tests a few days later. Fortunately these were OK. I then sent an on line claim to Many Pets on the Sunday to receive the funds in my account less than 24 hrs later on the Monday. This is not an isolated experience as last year's claims were dealt with in the same manner.
