When Bought By Many first started they were very efficient.

However, like practically every company, since Covid, they have gone downhill at a rate of knots!!!!

I pay for my policy by direct debit, monthly, and on time. Many Pets (as they now call themselves) on the other hand, seem to believe it is acceptable to keep me waiting for ANY settlement.

When I have queried this they say it is because they are waiting for reports from the vet. The vet however, who I have used for over 25yrs and trust implicitly, say they have sent everything asked for, TWICE, because Many Pets claims they have not received anything.

I took my dog to the out of hours vets in JUNE as an emergency and he was back in the vet the following 2 days having various scans and x-rays. In total it cost me circa £2000+ but Many Pets have refunded me only £295 (after deducting the excess) and it took them to last week to do this ….. that’s 4.5mths!!!!

They are useless, ineffectual, inefficient, procrastinators. They have no problem and are very quick in charging you and taking the excess but do their utmost to avoid payouts.

I am not the only one who has had problems and made the same claim and my vet has said they are an absolute NIGHTMARE to deal with.

I would NOT recommend this company AT ALL and if I had any other choice I would change to another insurance company in a heartbeat.
