The Petplan customer service and claim experience is astoundingly poor and appalling. Clearly based outside of the UK with shocking and terrible quality calls & staff giving wrong advice via webchat. Don't believe the nonsense on the website about paying claims in a short time scale, and over 90% settled, utter rubbish. My experience is that they will try to wriggle out of paying claims by hanging their hat on the small print. An appalling company with questionable conduct. I insured my rescue dog who sadly became serious sick on the 15th date of the policy. Petplan are desperately trying to find evidence that we knew there was an underlying condition, we didn't. Yesterday they have tried to change the start date of the policy so that the 14 day moratorium starts later and my claim is invalid. Very underhand. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Can't be trusted
