It took months of back and forth between the vets and the insurance company with us seeming to be the middle person in a process that we shouldn't have needed to get involved in once we had completed our part of the claim form. Once the claim had finally been settled, our premiums went up the next month which I can only assume is the insurance companies way of clawing back some of what they have just paid out.
