Our 11.5 year old dog had to have his teeth cleaned and a tag removed. The Vet recommended the work be carried out under one anaesthesia because of the dog's age and a previous bad reaction. The Vet had to subsequently attend when the tag area bled profusely two days after the op. Despite receiving one overall bill for the work More Than insisted on treating the work as three separate entities and on each occasion applied the excess PLUS 20% of the total amount, meaning that we only received a fraction of the overall cost. On that basis we decided that the policy was worthless and immediately closed it. In due course we will see how the Ombudsman reacts.
