Tesco insurance do not investigate the circumstances around claims. They look for any tenuous link on the animals history to avoid paying out. My dog has a leg injury due to the young pup constantly jumping on her. This claim was rejected because prior to insurance a year ago she was once lame on a different leg (she just did something on a run). But rather than paying out on an injury they prefer to make out it’s an underlying condition and refuse to pay out.

Been trying every day for over a week to renew pet insurance by phone. Each day at least over a half hour wait, option of pressing 1 for call back but this doesn't work. Gave up and tried to pay by bank transfer. Used two different account to try and each time same message " sort code doesn't match payee" I used Tesco, Tesco Bank , Tesco bank pet insurance but all were rejected. To add insult to injury the policy had increased by £100.
