I’ve been with Argos pet insurance since my cat was 16 months old and she’s now nearly 14 years old. I’ve never actually had a problem with argos pet insurance, they’ve always paid within about 2 weeks after I’ve paid the vet and they’ve sent in all details of her problem to why I’m claiming. I am shocked by the amount it’s gone up over the years from when I started from £5 a month to over £64 a month now. Yes I have claimed on it over last few years but it would be nice to be rewarded in some way for sticking with them as pet insurances really have us over a barrel as we can’t go else where if your pet as on going problems as they get older. God help us if the NHS did the same thing we’d but up a creek without a paddle. And it’s not the pets fault that their health goes up and down with age as we try to keep them as healthy as possible. But in business it’s all about the money and what profits they make which again is understandable and don’t get me on to vets though they help our pets they sure know how to make a profit on their ailments in more ways than I dare guess. A long message and a moan but there’s not a lot we can do if our pets become poorly through old age just don’t make us pay through the nose for it please.
