At the age 18 months Cimiyah developed what appeared to be mange but which was diagnosed as an allergic reaction to dust after two months initial treatment, a specialist investigation followed by targeted treatment. After 3 months the bill had reached the limit of the cover for one problem in any one year. I submitted a claim through my vet, who is a Vetsure partner. Vetsure notified me that the claim had been received and a few weeks later that it had been paid in full.
Cimyah is still receiving immunotherapy treatment that might help prevent the problem reoccurring, but Vetsure's smooth and efficient procedures removed most of the financial pain.
