2 months ago I sadly lost my cocker spaniel. I had a lifetime policy so was paying very steep premiums. My Certificate of Insurance clearly states that my dog will be covered under death from illness up until his next renewal date (which would have been January 2021). Argos are now claiming that my dog is not covered for death from illness and are refusing to pay the claim (which amounts to almost £3,000). So it appears that it doesn’t matter what your policy states in black and white that you are covered for, and that they are willing to charge you high premiums promising great cover. They will refuse to pay. Please be warned. Steer clear of this company.
