l have been very fortunate, in that I have a very healthy dog and to date have not had to make a claim. However the annual premium has more yhan doubled in the five years since I took it out to the point that it is becoming an annual struggle to justify the cost as it is cheaper to insure my house, contents and motor vehicle than my four legged friend.
