Agree with past reviews that premiums have increased through the roof since I took out policy 5 years ago. I had never made a claim until this year. After waiting for 20 days, which they advise on their website I phoned to chase up claim. Had to hold for 50 minutes before being put through to someone who told me she could not help as she couldn't access the system. Someone was supposed to ring me within 24 hours, needless to say they didn't. I phoned again, again put on hold then told someone would ring me. I asked to speak to someone else and was told by this person that the money would be in my account in 3-5 days. She would ring me when this happened.
Fast forward to day 32 post claim. Have received a letter to say they will not be paying my claim as my dog had a pre existing condition before we took out this policy.
Apparently this condition happened on the day he was born. What does that even mean?
Back to being put on hold for an hour tomorrow, but not holding my breath for a resolution anytime soon.
