I was horrified to discover that after claiming for a bought of cystitis for my cat, which totalled over £300, they excluded £150 due to the fact they do not cover any food even if it is prescription food. Nor do they cover supplements even if only available at the veterinary practice. This is all excluded even on the 'premium' policy. Hence, I will now be looking for a better policy as this is virtually pointless as many conditions can be improved with the aid of supplements.
