Don't waste your money on this policy. They probably are the cheapest but there's a reason... I made a claim for treatment over a 6 week period for my dog that also coincided with my policy renewal. Animal Friends charged me two excess fees and two 20% co-payments even though the vet submitted everything under one fee and one treatment, they saw it different and I ended up with less that 1 pound for the first claim and only 240 from the second claim. I see this as very petty by Animal Friends to split the claims just to save 80 pounds.
Worst of all they then stopped any new claims for the remainder of the policy year for that particular ailment and back dated it 2 months to the start of the renewal.
Learnt my lesson, you get what you pay for... I'll be looking for a new pet insurance provider, no doubt more expensive but will be worth it. 9 years with no claims and that's what you get.
