I think it’s disgusting that tescos charge you twice the amount of excess if the condition starts and continues into a New Year policy renewal. For example my dog had a uti which started in March, 9 days before my renewal date, it continued on another occasion into June and they have charged me 240 pounds excess which I now have to find to pay to the vet to cover the rest of her bill, having already charged me another 120 excess for an ongoing condition that I had previously paid 240 pounds for as it fell between the renewal date. I think it’s a rip off and I’m very angry about it. I don’t see how they can warrant that charge
