I applied to make a claim back (my first ever claim) before christmas. During that time, it took them a couple of months to tell just me my vet hadnt given them enough information and could i arrange for that to be sorted and sent to them. On speaking to my vet practice, they told me that the pet insurance should have asked them directly and they would of sorted it straight away, they shouldnt of asked me to deal with it. My vet sent off the relevant paperwork, for the pet insurance to text me to call them, a month later, i did, for them to say they didnt receive the paperwork when i know for a fact, it was sent!! I then told them to ring my vet directly and ask fir it.
After more than 6 months of waiting on this claim, of almost £600, ive been told they WONT cover it!!
He had a blocked bladder and bearly died!
Never had something like this happen to him before and ive had him since a small kitten. What is the point of paying out for this service, if you dont get it?!
I am currently in the process iof writing to them, to cancel my insurance claim. Absolutely no point of it and they just cause you a big headache.
Would not recommend.
