No Loyalty

We have insured our cat with Tesco for several years. The premiums are not cheap but we're acceptable. However, our recent renewal notice showed an exorbitant increase of about 40%. In the enclosing letter it stated that we may find cheaper insurance elsewhere.
I phoned Tesco help line who were totally unhelpful and could offer no discount or accept any logical reason for the increase.
I know the reason!!!
Now that our cat is getting older they no longer want our business because the risk of claim is higher. They will take your money for years at a lower risk and then wash their hands of you when the risk gets higher.
I will add that we have never made a claim on the policy in all the years we have had it.
Loyalty to customers - RUBBISH!!!
