Just had a renewal quote from Tesco Pet Insurance for our dog and the requested premium has increased by 88.45%. We have made no claims on the existing police. I telephoned Tesco Customer Services. The operator was very "matter-of-fact" and seemed uninterested in my query. I informed her I had two other quotes in front of me, one with a better level of cover, which I had just obtained and despite telling her what the prices were for these, her "re-quote figure" of over £400.00 [approx. £120.00 less than originally quoted(?!!)] was still almost £100 dearer than the new quotes. Poor way to treat existing customers.....Result I have cancelled policy with them. Other reviews on this site confirm my experience. Advice from me - GO ELSEWHERE!!
