Our recent claim was so efficiently and quickly dealt with. We just paid the excess then the balance of the vet's bill was paid directly to the vet so we didn't need to contact The Kennel Club at all. However we received regular updates via email as our claim was processed. Thankfully our pet is once again fit and healthy. Would recommend. They are very good to deal with.
