My wife changed to Tesco in December, the policy was a bit cheaper, oh what a mistake that was, firstly we had a claim which was originally rejected on very spurious grounds, then we disproved there concerns and they gave another reason not to pay on even more spurious grounds (ironic - because if I were to claim for one thing and then change the reason for the claim for something else I think this would be deemed insurance fraud!) Following a formal complaint prior to going to the financial ombudsman they settled the claim, then we were told they mis-sold the policy so we amended at the new price offered, two months later they cancelled the policy (mindful the claim is for a life long illness) and when my wife enquired why they, said they had written to us (they hadn't) and the policy had gone up £170 for three months, the policy was £52 per month and on DD, they said they made a mistake when selling the policy, I could go on, needless to say we are in the middle of a battle to sort, very stressful. SO JUST AVOID LIKE BUBONIC PLAGUE!!!
