Renewal rip off for long term customer


My renewal quote was 50% more than last year. When I queried this I was told it was because my older dog was now 8 and because she had a Cancerous tumour removed within the last 12 months. Now I understand the tumour issue but not the ride in insurance of 50%. The tumour was removed successfully and cost far less than the increase. If the cancer returns on vets advice it would not be treated. As a long standing customer who has always rated the customer service given and the ease in which the claims are made and speed of payment I feel tesco have no joined in the insurance trap whereby loyal customers are treated badly with regards to price against a new customer who gets a quote that is far cheaper. Tesco have now lost a loyal customer. Bad show tesco.
