Excess was more than the vet bill

Dylan is recovering from a small wound which required stitching by the vet, possibly the result of a dog bite. His waggy tail disappeared for a day or so but is back now.
Mine disappeared when I was told the excess was £160. Having paid £25 every month. Hmmm
