My dog has been insured with Kennel Club since birth. I have had no difficulty in making a claim on two occasions for my Akita, but the deductions, sheer cost of the Policy and the required excess and % contribution to the fees make it extortionate. The peace of mind is worth it for me, especially now my dog approaches the age of 11. The insurers have paid out swiftly and settled bills directly with my vets which is very helpful.
