Took cats x 2 in for what turned out to be a cold. Now they are no longer covered for anything respiratory in the future.

I took my two cats to the vet because they were off their food for a couple of days and seemed a bit lethargic. Although there was nothing conclusive in tests the vet diagnosed a mild respiratory virus i.e. a cold. The cost of their care was mainly incorporated in the excess of £100 each cat. I did put it through the insurance for the remainder, which was probably less than £100 - I can't remember exactly how much now. Animal Friends paid this with no problems, but I was surprised to receive a letter advising me that neither cat is covered for anything respiratory in the future. That is just ridiculous. I am looking to insure my 2 cats and 2 dogs elsewhere now. I will add there was nothing wrong with the service the company provided in that it was politely and efficiently dealt with. However, the policy is simply useless, hence my higher scores for speed and service, but low overall score.
