I rang the insurance company before hand who were happy to process the claim once I had the appointment.
The forms were given into my vet to fill in their relevant parts and then sent to the insurance company
My claim was dealt with (minus the excess) within 2 weeks.
My vet also said that the total amount one could claim for psychological therapy was very generous compared to other insurance companies
