Poor customer loyalty with increasing premiums

I have been a customer with this company for 8 years. Over that time the premiums increased year on year. At renewal time it is always a fight to keep the premium at a reasonable cost. Each time I hear the same line that the veterinary practice is unregulated. Over this time I made 1 claim. The following year the premium doubled in price, exceeding the amount of my claim. Over the years I have paid out in excess of £2000 to this company. In looking back I would have been best to have put the money I paid to this company into an account. To date I would be still better off as I would still have my money. This company shows no loyalty to their customers. If you make a claim they will take it off you the following year plus more. Think seriously about taking out pet insurance. Insurance companies only want your money and do not want to pay back.
