No claims made but renewal wants a nearly 50% incr

I have a 2 year old cross breed cockapoo never made any claims but premium went from £133 to £189 in one year nearly 50 % increase,phoned to find out why but failed to get the reason,not good !

You were lucky, I have a 7 year old German Shepherd who premiums increased from £81 to £122 per month, was told it is because of the age of the dog.
