The policy does state that you are responsible for taking your dog to the vet annually for a check up, else they are not covered.

I've had a similar issue - not made clear on a prior vet visit to take action on teeth to avoid dental treatment, no mention of - oh and by the way that will be excluded now. Changed insurers to petplan oblivious it would be an exclusion - not spelt out at the time, I don't see the notes!

this doesnt usually mean a dentist, most good vets will include a dental check in the annual healthcheck at the time the booster was given, they will usually write on the notes any abnormalities/problems so i would tell petplan that your dog DID have a dental check at the healthcheck, tbh they wont know any different!!!

That is completley Normal with insurance you have to have the check ups and boosters the trick is to read the small print and your full policy terms and conditions everything you need to know is in black and white
