You will find the policy excess will be charged twice if the treatment happens to fall over the renewal date. My claim was useless for this reason and returned next to nothing once the excess was deducted twice. Makes you feel like you're paying for both insurance and your vet bills, so only good for huge claims or public liabilty, so far all my bills have been killed by the excess!
