Alfie our 6 year old Labrador unfortunately had to have crucial ligament surgery 4 years ago. His Lifetime insurance policy renewal premiums have simply got to a level where it was not feasible to continue to insure him with our current insurer.
Research found that very few insurers are prepared to provide quotes for dogs with previous "conditions". After a very pleasant conversion with Louise at Lifetime Pet Cover, where we discussed Alfie's past "conditions", she assured me that because Alfie has now been free from any issues concerning his past treatment at the vets for over 24 months that she could provide a quote.
The quote was very reasonable, obviously the excess was a little bit more than what we were originally paying, and once Alfie turns 7 we will have to pay 20% of any claim ( co-insurance ).
So pleased we found Lifetime Pet Cover, hopefully we will not have to make a claim, but I feel confident that if we ever do, then it will be dealt with efficiently as the quote was provided.
