We to think that 'Animal Friends' is a misnomer. I work for a veterinary practice and made a claim to Animal Friends on behalf of a client whose dog was referred for a heart problem. They have refused to pay on the basis of a completely unrelated incident in the dogs past. The vet here who examined and treated the dog here is a Cardiology Diplomat and RCVs Specialist in Cardiology and produced a detailed report on why the current condition was nothing to do with the incident in the dogs past, yet they still refused to pay saying that their vet (who has no postgraduate qualifications in Cardiology) said that the condition was still pre existing. The case is currently with the financial ombudsman.
