Cover My Pet offer three types of pet insurance policy; a Lifetime Cover policy with three vet fee levels of cover that renew annually, a Maximum Benefit policy that covers each illness or condition until the limit is reached, and a Time Limited policy that covers each illness or injury until the policy limit or 365 days from the date of the first claim, whichever arrives sooner.

What do they offer?  

As part of the benefit of choosing Cover My Pet as your pet insurance provider all customers have access to a vet via a video call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so there is always someone available to talk to if you are at all concerned about your furry friend.

All policies cover the cost of theft and straying, vet fees within the limits of each policy, third party liability (dogs only), cover for complementary treatments, death from an accident or illness and offer holiday cancellation cover.

You can pay for your cover monthly or annually and they can pay your vet direct, too, if your vet agrees. Their claims and admin team are all UK based and carefully trained so that should the unthinkable happen and you need to make a claim, dealing with their team will be a positive and easy to handle experience.

What else should I know about 'Cover My Pet' Pet Insurance? 

It’s worth knowing that within each policy there are certain diagnostic techniques, treatments or conditions that have lower pay out limits than the overall policy limits. These include CT and MRI scans, cruciate ligament issues, complementary treatments, pay out on death of your pet, holiday cancellation cover and payout if your pet is stolen or lost.

There are also a few breeds of dog that Cover My Pet won’t cover but if you get a quote you’ll be able to see if your dog breed is eligible and check out those lower limits.
