Marley had been with Churchill pet insurance for 7 years. I always paid the vet bills as I didn’t want my policy to go up.
When he turned 8 they changed his policy where I would have to pay 30% of the vet fees and his cover was up to 2k.
I called them and they basically said he is older and that’s what happens.
He is now 11 and the monthly charge became too much, so I had to cancel his policy after 10 years. They have had over 5k off me and I never made a claim. Now he has no insurance at an age where he needs it most. Would have been better off putting the money into an account for him. Avoid at all cost!
