When someone else’s dog nearly bit my thumb off ,the owner of that dog had third party insurance,(I was walking on a country road) with Petplan. It has taken nearly 14 months of stress and anxiety before being settled. They do not respond to emails and phone calls and you have to constantly chase them up. I would recommend getting a solicitor straight away, I will never insure a dog of mine with them .
