I cancelled the policy before it even started.
One of the questions they asked was "has your pet been to ANY vet appointment that was not a standard scheduled health check" I don't know many people that could answer no to that. I know some places ask about the last 12 months but they meant in her whole life (3 yr old dog) so I said yes when she was 20 wks old she ate something that made her sick, as puppies do. They sent me a letter a week later asking for detailed documents & clinical notes from every vet she'd ever been to. I told them it wasn't worth it and not to bother. With that much hassle before the policy began I don't want to imagine how much hassle I'd get if I ever needed to claim.
