Pet insurance a ripoff

After 4 months they rejected the claim totally disagreeing with the vet's diagnosis. Am now referring them to the ombudsman. Customer service is nonexistent. the vet says they are the worst company she has ever dealt with.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Trying to claim for vet’s fee, X-rays etc. I am getting concerned by the lack of communication on the claim. The LV call centre staff have been helpful but they can’t do anything as they are only acting as agents. I have kept them updated on my dog’s treatment throughout. This is my first claim with this company and have had vet’s bills of over £1,000 in five weeks. Reading the reviews I am getting very worried that they will settle. First time I have had this problem with a pet insurance company.
