I have a 7 year old whippet and was recommended the insurance by my dogs breeder. We made our first claim in December 2017 and were shocked at how long it took them to process the claim and pay (over 8 weeks). unfortunately my dog has needed ongoing expensive drugs and regular blood tests which means I am regularly paying £400 per month. I am currently waiting for about 5 claims to be paid. When I spoke with them I was advised they have a backlog and claims are taking 8 weeks + before they look at them. As I know this has been ongoing for the past 5 months I do not feel I am receiving the service I am paying for. I am concerned after reading other reviews that premiums have doubled. Unfortunately, it is not until you make a claim that you find out how slow the claims process is.
