Fast response

Fast response. The claim ran smoothly. It has made me think I need to re think maximum claim amounts as £500 isn't much for accidental and £2000 isn't a lot for illness

Dear Miss Scott,

Thank you for your review.

We hope to put your mind at ease in regards to your insurance policy as it seems there has been a bit of confusion here.

You have a ‘Premier’ policy for your pet Chase. This means Chase is covered for Accidents and Illness. The Premier cover includes up to £2,000 PER condition PER year for Veterinary Fees. Therefore, if your pet is unlucky enough to suffer from multiple (unrelated) conditions the Veterinary fee limit applies to each and every condition, such that, in theory, your pet has limitless total cover. For example, if Chase was unlucky enough to suffer from 4 unrelated conditions you could benefit from £8,000 cover per year. All our policies are lifelong, so these conditions will continue to be covered each year the policy renews (provided you keep your premiums up to date). If you feel that you need more cover you could consider upgrading to our Premier Plus policy which covers up to £5,000 PER condition PER year for Veterinary Fees. However you should be aware that, if you do upgrade then cover would remain at £2,000 per year for any condition which may have become apparent whilst Chase was on our Premier policy.

I hope this has helped but please do not hesitate to contact us if you need further reassurance.

Best wishes
The Vetsure Team
